Amruta Fadnavis: We Want to Stay in Maharashtra, I’ll Ensure Devendraji Stays Here Too

Amruta Fadnavis has asserted that she and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis wish to remain in Maharashtra, and she will ensure that Devendraji stays in the state. While condemning the attacks on students and police personnel amid the ongoing protests in Delhi, she described the incident as a "dark moment.

"Speaking to journalists after the conclusion of the Environment Dindi in Pandharpur on the eve of Ashadhi Ekadashi, Amruta Fadnavis said, "We will continue to worship Lord Vitthal. Whether we are in Mumbai, Nagpur, or anywhere else, we will keep offering our prayers to Vitthal.

"On the Delhi protests, she remarked, "Our government is bringing in a strict law against paper leaks. Every individual and artist has the right to express their views. However, some anti-social elements attacked the police, while some students were also attacked. That was a dark moment. This incident is entirely condemnable, and we hope such events do not recur.

"When asked about the Thackeray brothers, she said, "I think it is a good thing that the two of them are coming together. They were apart for so long, and now uniting is positive.

"She reiterated, "Whether we are in Nagpur, Pandharpur or Mumbai, we will always worship Lord Vitthal. We want to stay in Maharashtra, and I will ensure Devendraji stays in Maharashtra too."
